Cedarhouse is an experience, not just a beautiful nursery. Parnel, the owner, is an infectious human who will quickly make you smile and has curated a vibe in her shop that enhances my appreciation for plants. The shop is located in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood, 1621 N 45th St, right across the street from Molly Moon’s Ice Cream. If you’re lucky, you might catch her super chill dog, Rigo, on the porch.

I created some 2” x 3” framed kitty illustrations for this exhibition and they were very popular. I might bring them back for a future exhibit. You can see one below in the bottom right corner. It’s a cute, little, black kitty peeking our from behind a snake plant.
